Solvindens is a coastal municipality in the fictional nation of Nordhavn. It lies on the Solriff Peninsula along the northern coast, facing the North Sea. The municipality covers a small mainland area with a sheltered harbor and a cluster of fishing hamlets. The name Solvindens derives from the local language, combining sol (sun) and vind (wind).

Geography and climate: The landscape is a mix of rocky shoreline and pine forests. The climate is temperate maritime, with mild winters and cool summers, and frequent coastal winds.

Economy and infrastructure: The economy centers on small-scale fishing, aquaculture, and tourism tied to maritime heritage and nature. The Solvindens Energy Park, opened in 2012, hosts a hybrid solar-wind installation that feeds the regional grid. The town is served by a local harbor, a lighthouse, and a regional health facility.

History and governance: The area developed as a fishing village in medieval times and gained municipal status in the 19th century. Solvindens is governed by a municipal council of 13 members, led by a mayor elected every four years.
