Sognefjell

Sognefjell is a mountain pass in Norway, notable for being the highest road pass in Northern Europe. It is located in the municipality of Luster in Vestland county. The pass reaches an elevation of 1,434 meters (4,705 feet) above sea level. The scenic route that traverses Sognefjell is part of Norwegian National Road 55, connecting the Sognefjord region with Gudbrandsdalen.

The Sognefjell Road is often referred to as the "Sognefjellsvegen." It is a popular tourist route, offering spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, glaciers, and valleys.
