Snabbavkylning
Snabbavkylning, a Swedish term translating to rapid cooling, refers to a process of quickly reducing the temperature of a substance or material. This is typically achieved by exposing it to a significantly colder environment or medium. The primary goal of snabbavkylning is to preserve the quality of the material, prevent degradation, or prepare it for subsequent processing.
In food preservation, snabbavkylning is a common practice. Quickly chilling cooked food, for instance, inhibits the
