Skálafjord

Skálafjørður, sometimes anglicized as Skálafjord, is a fjord in the Faroe Islands that lies between the islands of Streymoy to the west and Eysturoy to the east. It forms a natural waterway that extends inland and supports several coastal communities along its shores.

The inner fjord is home to the town of Skála on the Eysturoy side, with numerous smaller fishing hamlets and harbors extending along the Streymoy coast.
