Skanneripaneeli
Skanneripaneeli, often referred to as a scanner bed or platen, is a flat, usually glass, surface on a scanner or multifunction printer where a document or object is placed for digitization. The scanning element, typically a light source and a sensor array, moves across the underside of the skanneripaneeli to capture the image. The skanneripaneeli itself is designed to be smooth and transparent to allow for clear and unobstructed light transmission. Its surface needs to be kept clean to prevent dust, smudges, or scratches from appearing in the scanned image. For flatbed scanners, the skanneripaneeli is typically the largest component of the device. Some devices may have a transparent section within the skanneripaneeli to accommodate scanning transparencies like slides or film negatives using a backlight. The quality and flatness of the skanneripaneeli are critical factors in achieving high-resolution and accurate scans.
