Singlepair

Singlepair is a term that does not have a single, widely accepted definition and is instead used in different ways across fields. In many cases the term appears as a concatenated form of "single" and "pair" without standardized meaning.

In card games, "single pair" commonly refers to a hand containing exactly one pair of cards of the same rank, with the remaining cards all of different ranks. In formal poker terminology this is usually called "one pair," and the single-word form is more conventional than the compound.

In computing and data structures, "SinglePair" or singlepair may be used as a camel-case identifier for a simple container that holds a single key-value pair, or as a term in descriptions of algebraic data types. Such usage is library-specific and not standardized.

In other contexts, Singlepair can be used as a brand name, project title, or company name, with meaning defined by its creator.
