Sindelin is a fictional city in the fantasy world of Eldoria. It serves as the capital of the province of Lysara and is a major hub on the Serin River, near the Azure Sea.

Located on a river delta with a fortified western hill, Sindelin features a mix of merchant quarters, residential neighborhoods, and public squares. The skyline is anchored by the Silverspire, a multi-tower citadel that overlooks the harbor and serves as a symbolic center of governance and defense.

Sindelin grew from a trading post founded in the early Middle Ages by the Serin League, expanding through river commerce and guild patronage. It endured sieges during the War of the Broken Crown and later recovered with investments by the Lysaran dynasty, which supported public works and urban expansion.

The city’s economy relies on river trade, crafts such as glassmaking and textiles, and port duties. It is administered by a city council known as the Council of Lysara and a magistrate called the Praetor, who oversee civic administration, law, and defense.

Demographically, Sindelin is home to about 150,000 residents and hosts diverse communities with languages including Eldorian and Serin. The cultural scene centers on the annual Festival of Lumens, featuring markets, theater, and street processions.

Notable landmarks include the Silverspire, the Old Market, and the Serin Bridge. Transportation connects the city to surrounding towns via river docks, a light rail spur, and ferries that traverse the Serin.
