Silmäsuojalasit

Silmäsuojalasit, also known as safety glasses, are a type of personal protective equipment designed to protect the eyes from hazards such as flying debris, impact, chemical splashes, and radiation. They are commonly used in industrial settings, laboratories, construction sites, and during various DIY projects. The design of silmäsuojalasit varies depending on the specific hazard they are intended to guard against. Basic models feature impact-resistant lenses made from polycarbonate or other strong plastics, often with a frame that wraps around the face for better coverage. Some models include side shields to prevent objects from entering the eyes from the periphery.

More specialized types of silmäsuojalasit offer additional protection. Goggles, for instance, provide a tighter seal around the eyes, offering superior protection against dust, chemical splashes, and even some airborne particles.
