Siirtopipettejä
Siirtopipettejä, known in English as transfer pipettes or Pasteur pipettes, are simple laboratory tools used to transfer small amounts of liquids. They are typically made of flexible plastic and feature a hollow tube with a bulb at one end. The bulb acts as a simple pump, allowing the user to draw liquid into the tube by squeezing the bulb before use and then releasing it to aspirate the liquid. A gentle squeeze on the bulb then expels the liquid.
These pipettes are disposable, making them convenient for single-use applications and reducing the risk of cross-contamination.
Siirtopipettejä come in different sizes, with varying tip diameters, to accommodate different liquid volumes and viscosity.
