Shujaiya
Shujaiya, also spelled Shuja'iyya or Shujaiyya, is a neighborhood in Gaza City in the Gaza Strip, Palestine. It is situated on the eastern side of the city and forms part of the urban fabric of Gaza City. The name Shujaiya comes from the Arabic shujaa, meaning brave or valiant.
The area is predominantly residential and includes markets, mosques, and schools that serve its local population.
