Shang-Chi is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Steve Englehart and artist Steve Gan, the character first appeared in "Daredevil" #1 (April 1964). Shang-Chi is a master of martial arts and a skilled acrobat, known for his agility and combat prowess. He is a member of the Ten Rings, a secret society of assassins, and later becomes a member of the Avengers, Earth's mightiest heroes.
Shang-Chi's real name is Shang-Chi, and he is the son of the Ten Rings leader, the Mandarin.
