Shaharlardan

Shaharlardan is a transliteration of a Turkic phrase meaning “from cities,” used in Turkish and Azerbaijani to indicate origin. The base noun şehir/şəhər means city, and its plural şehirler/şəhərlər denotes “cities.” The ablative suffix -den/-dən marks origin, so şehirlerden/şəhərlərdən = “from the cities.” When diacritics are omitted, the result can appear as shaharlardan in ASCII texts or older orthographies.
