Shadowspine

Shadowspine is a fictional mountain range appearing in various fantasy settings, most notably within the realm of the Everlasting Peaks. These towering, jagged mountains are characterized by their perpetually shadowed valleys and treacherous, snow-capped summits. Legends speak of ancient, forgotten civilizations that once dwelled within their depths, leaving behind ruins and artifacts of immense power. The climate within Shadowspine is harsh, with frequent blizzards, icy winds, and a general lack of sunlight contributing to its inhospitable nature.

The flora and fauna of Shadowspine are adapted to its extreme conditions. Hardy, gnarled trees cling to the lower slopes, while the higher altitudes are home to mosses, lichens, and a few hardy, high-altitude grasses. Many creatures found here are nocturnal or possess adaptations for surviving in low light and cold, such as thick fur, keen senses of hearing and smell, and the ability to hibernate for extended periods.
