Sevesodirektiverne
Sevesodirektiverne refers to a set of directives and crisis management procedures developed by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in response to the Seveso disaster, a major industrial accident that occurred on July 10, 1976, in Seveso, Italy. The accident resulted in the release of large quantities of toxic industrial chemicals, including dioxin, into the environment, affecting hundreds of people and causing widespread concern.
Following the disaster, the European Economic Community (EEC) established a working group to identify best practices
The Seveso Directive was later supplemented by the Seveso II Directive, which expanded on the original guidelines
