Seurakunnalliset

Seurakunnalliset is a Finnish term used to describe matters, activities and characteristics that pertain to a seurakunta, the local parish or congregation of the Finnish Evangelical Lutheran Church. In this context, a seurakunta is the basic local unit of church life, typically serving a defined geographic area with its own leadership and resources. Seurakunnalliset aspects cover the parish’s worship and pastoral care, catechetical work, diaconal and social services, cemetery administration, and the management of church properties and facilities. The term is often used to distinguish parish-level work from diocesan or national church administration.
