Serbian Australians are Australian residents or citizens who trace their ancestry to Serbia or identify with Serbian culture. The term covers people born in Serbia as well as descendants of Serbs who migrated to Australia, including those from other parts of the former Yugoslavia who identify with Serbian heritage.

Migration began in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and intensified after World War II and during the Yugoslav Wars of the 1990s. The community has established footholds in several Australian cities, with the largest populations traditionally in Melbourne and Sydney, and smaller communities elsewhere.

Religious and cultural life is anchored by the Serbian Orthodox Church, which operates churches, schools and cultural societies. Community groups organize dance ensembles, language classes, and festivals that celebrate Serbian customs, music, and folklore.

Language use is bilingual in many families, with Serbian taught in churches, schools, and cultural clubs. English is widely spoken, and second- or third-generation Serbian Australians often maintain connections through diaspora media and online platforms.

Serbian Australian organizations include cultural, youth and sporting clubs, as well as Serbian-language media and volunteer networks. The community contributes in various sectors, including business, academia, arts, and public life, helping to maintain transnational ties with Serbia and the wider Serbian diaspora.

Today, Serbian Australians form a diverse, integrated community that preserves heritage while participating in Australian civic life.
