Semiamorphous

Semi-amorphous refers to a state of matter that possesses some degree of structural order but is not fully crystalline. In many materials, particularly polymers, a semi-amorphous structure represents a compromise between the highly ordered arrangement of atoms or molecules in a crystalline solid and the completely disordered state of an amorphous solid. This means that within a semi-amorphous material, there are regions that are ordered, akin to crystal structures, interspersed with regions that are disordered or random.
