Sekundaaritieto
Sekundaaritieto refers to information that has been processed, interpreted, or analyzed from primary sources. Unlike primary data, which is collected directly from the original source, secondary data is a step removed. Examples of primary sources include raw survey results, original research papers, or eyewitness accounts. Sekundaaritieto, on the other hand, would be a summary of those survey results, a review article that synthesizes multiple research papers, or a historical analysis of an event based on eyewitness accounts.
The creation of secondary data often involves synthesis, comparison, and evaluation of primary information. Researchers, analysts,
