Sekoitusjärjestelmissä, known in English as mixing systems or blending systems, refers to the equipment and processes used to combine different materials to achieve a homogeneous mixture. These systems are crucial in a wide range of industries, including chemical processing, food and beverage production, pharmaceuticals, and materials science. The primary goal of a mixing system is to ensure uniformity in the composition, temperature, and other properties of the final product.

The design and selection of a mixing system depend heavily on the physical properties of the materials being mixed, such as viscosity, density, particle size, and phase (solid, liquid, gas). Common types of mixing systems include mechanical mixers, which utilize rotating impellers, blades, or paddles to agitate the materials.
