Seisova

Seisova is a village and the administrative center of Seisova parish in Kronland. With a population of about 1,900, it serves as a local hub for surrounding farms and small businesses. The economy is based on agriculture, forestry, and service industries, with a weekly market that draws residents from nearby settlements.

Seisova lies in a gently rolling lowland region, about 65 kilometers north of Kronstadt, near the Seis River and Lake Livia. The area features mixed forests and arable land, with a temperate climate that supports crops such as barley, potatoes, and berries.

The earliest records mention Seisova in the 15th century as a farmstead. It grew through the following centuries, gaining parish status in the 17th century and municipal status in the 19th. In the 2010s, Seisova parish merged with neighboring jurisdictions as part of administrative reorganization, though the village remains the local center.

The Saint Michael Church (consecrated 1680) stands at the village center alongside a heritage mill and a war memorial. An annual harvest festival in late summer showcases local crafts, music, and produce.

Seisova is linked by a regional road and a small railway line that runs to Kronstadt. Amenities include a primary school, a health clinic, a library, and several shops. Local officials oversee parish affairs and coordinate regional services.
