The most well-known segélyhívó is 112, the universal European emergency number. In Hungary, 112 is the primary emergency number, replacing some older, service-specific numbers. However, traditional numbers like 104 for ambulance, 105 for fire, and 107 for police may still be in use in some contexts or for specific historical reasons.
