Scorpene

The Scorpene is a class of diesel-electric attack submarines designed and manufactured by DCNS of France and Navantia of Spain. It is designed for both anti-submarine warfare and anti-surface warfare, as well as for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions. There are several variants of the Scorpene, including the Agosta 90B, the standard Scorpene, and the Scorpene II, which features an Air-Independent Propulsion (AIP) system.
