SavoKarelia
SavoKarelia is a bi-regional concept in eastern Finland that combines parts of the historical Savo (Savonia) region with areas traditionally linked to Karelia. The term is used in cultural heritage projects, regional planning, tourism branding, and academic discussions to reflect the shared landscapes and cross-border history of the Savonian and Karelian areas, which extend into present-day Finland and parts of Russia.
