Sastamala
Sastamala is a town and municipality in Finland, located in the Pirkanmaa region. It was formed in 2009 through the merger of the former municipalities of Vammala, Mouhijärvi, and Karkku. The name Sastamala itself is derived from the historical Sastamala region, which has a long and rich past. The current municipality covers an area of approximately 1,559 square kilometers, with a significant portion being water.
