SINPO
SINPO, or the Singapore Police Force, is the national police service of Singapore. It was established in 1819 as the Resident's Foot Police, and has since evolved into a modern, professional, and multi-cultural force. The SINPO is responsible for maintaining law and order, preventing and detecting crime, and providing assistance to the public in times of need.
The force is headed by the Inspector-General of Police, who is appointed by the President of Singapore.
