Shhsignaalit, or Sonic hedgehog (SHH) signaling, is a conserved cellular communication pathway essential for embryonic development and tissue patterning in vertebrates. The SHH pathway regulates cell fate, proliferation, and differentiation by conveying positional information through morphogen gradients.
