SEPAalue
SEPAalue is a term used in discussions of payments within the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) to denote a standardized indicator of the net economic value of a payment. In this concept, SEPAalue represents the amount effectively received by the beneficiary after all applicable charges are accounted for, expressed in euros and aligned with SEPA data principles. It is intended to complement the published gross amount of a transaction by providing a consistent view of the value transferred.
SEPAalue is not an official data element in the current SEPA data model or ISO 20022 messages.
