SDOALT
SDOALT refers to the Solar Dynamics Observatory Atmospheric Imaging Assembly (AIA) limb instrument. The AIA is one of the three main instruments on NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) mission, which was launched in 2010. The AIA instrument suite is designed to observe the Sun in multiple wavelengths of ultraviolet and extreme ultraviolet light. The limb instrument, specifically, is optimized for observing the solar limb, which is the visible edge of the Sun.
