S1Pfosfatase refers to enzymes that dephosphorylate sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P). Sphingosine-1-phosphate is a bioactive lipid mediator that plays critical roles in various cellular processes including cell proliferation, survival, migration, and immune cell trafficking. The S1Pfosfatase enzymes are responsible for regulating the intracellular levels of S1P, thus modulating its signaling functions.
