Rückseiten

Rückseiten is the plural form of Rückseite, a German noun meaning the back side or reverse of an object. The Rückseite is the side opposite the Vorderseite (front side) and is a common concept across many fields. In everyday objects, the Rückseite is often used to carry information, instructions, or supplementary content.

In postcards, the Vorderseite normally bears an image, while the Rückseite provides the address area, stamp placement, and space for a message.
