Röntgenipildiga refers to an image produced using X-rays, a form of electromagnetic radiation. This diagnostic imaging technique, commonly known as an X-ray, utilizes the differential absorption of X-rays by various tissues and materials within the body to create a visual representation. Denser materials like bone absorb more X-rays and appear white on the resulting image, while softer tissues allow more X-rays to pass through and appear in shades of gray. Air, being the least dense, appears black.

The process typically involves an X-ray machine that emits a controlled beam of radiation. This beam passes through the patient's body, and the remaining radiation is captured by a detector, often a film or a digital sensor. This captured information is then processed to form the röntgenipildiga.
