Réversible
Réversible is a French adjective meaning capable of being reversed or undone. In various contexts, it describes a process, object, or phenomenon that can be returned to its original state. For instance, a reversible reaction in chemistry is one that can proceed in both forward and backward directions. An object may be described as reversible if it can be used or worn in two different ways, such as a coat with an inner and outer pattern. In computing, a reversible process is one where the original state can be perfectly reconstructed from the final state. This concept also applies to transformations, where the original form can be regained. The key characteristic of anything described as réversible is the ability to revert to a previous condition or configuration.
