Ruudulise

Ruudulise is an Estonian adjective meaning “checkered” or “grid-patterned.” It describes surfaces, textiles, designs or layouts that consist of squares or a repeated square motif. The word is formed from the noun ruut, meaning “square,” with the adjectival suffix -line, and ruudulise is the genitive singular form of the adjective ruuduline, used when describing a noun in cases where that form is required.
