Rozmówczy

Rozmówczy is a Polish noun that can denote a person who participates in a conversation, i.e., an interlocutor. In standard usage the common term for such a participant is rozmówca for a male or a gender-neutral form, and rozmówczyni for a female interlocutor. The form rozmówczy is rare and is generally considered archaic or regional; it may appear in older texts or in certain dialects as an alternative agent noun derived from the verb rozmawiać.

In contemporary Polish, experts typically regard rozmówczy as nonstandard or obsolete in most contexts. When precision is required, writers and speakers usually choose rozmówca/rozmówczyni, or, more generally, another term such as interlocutor.
