Rotherbaum
Rotherbaum, sometimes spelled Rothenbaum in German sources, is a quarter (Stadtteil) of Hamburg, Germany. It lies just west of the city center along the northern shore of the Inner Alster and forms part of the city’s central area. The name derives from the Rothenbaum area surrounding the Rothenbaumchaussee, a major street that passes through the neighborhood.
