Rotationspressen
Rotationspressen, also known as rotary presses or rotary printing presses, are a type of high-speed printing press that uses cylindrical printing plates to transfer ink to paper or other substrates. Unlike flatbed presses, which use a flat plate, rotary presses employ curved plates that are mounted onto rotating cylinders. This continuous rotation allows for a much faster printing process, making them ideal for mass production of printed materials.
The basic principle involves at least two cylinders: an impression cylinder and a printing cylinder. The printing
Rotary presses are widely used for printing newspapers, magazines, books, packaging, and other high-volume printed products.
