Rosoiseina

Rosoiseina is a genus of bacteria belonging to the family Rhizobiaceae. These bacteria are Gram-negative and facultative anaerobic, meaning they can survive in the presence or absence of oxygen. They are typically rod-shaped and motile, possessing a single polar flagellum. Rosoiseina species are commonly found in soil and plant root environments.

One of the notable characteristics of Rosoiseina is its ability to form symbiotic relationships with legumes. Similar to other bacteria in the Rhizobiaceae family, some Rosoiseina species can induce nodule formation on the roots of leguminous plants. Within these nodules, the bacteria convert atmospheric nitrogen into ammonia, a process known as biological nitrogen fixation.
