Rodri

Rodrigo Hernández Cascón, known as Rodri, (born 22 June 1996) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Manchester City in the Premier League and the Spain national team.

Rodri began his career in the youth system of Real Madrid before moving to Villarreal, where he made his professional debut. He subsequently joined Atlético Madrid, where he established himself as a midfield organizer and ball-winner. In 2019 he transferred to Manchester City for a club-record fee.

Internationally, Rodri made his senior debut for Spain in 2018 and has since been capped regularly, representing the national team in major tournaments and qualifiers. He has been part of Spain’s squads for European Championships and FIFA World Cup campaigns.
