Ringlülitust, also known as ring main or ring circuit, is a common electrical wiring arrangement for socket outlets in many countries, particularly in the United Kingdom and some Commonwealth nations. It differs from a radial circuit, where each socket is connected to the final distribution point in a single line. In a ring circuit, the power supply connects to one end of a loop of cable, and this cable then travels through all the socket outlets in the circuit before returning to the same distribution point, completing the ring.
