Rimet
Rimet is a French surname. The most prominent bearer is Jules Rimet (1874–1956), a French football administrator who served as president of FIFA from 1921 to 1954. Rimet was a driving force behind international football and the creation of a world championship for national teams. In 1930 he organized the first FIFA World Cup in Uruguay and oversaw the competition's early expansion.
