Ribblesdale
Ribblesdale is the upper valley of the River Ribble in the north of England. The dale lies largely within North Yorkshire and forms part of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, extending from the southern village of Horton-in-Ribblesdale to the Ribblehead area in the north, where the river’s headwaters rise. The landscape is dominated by limestone geology, with steep flanks, cloughs, and traditional dry-stone walls.
