RhosyFelin
Rhosyfelin (Welsh: Rhos-y-Felin) is a rocky outcrop on the Preseli Hills in Pembrokeshire, Wales. The site lies on the western flank of the Preseli ridge and forms part of the geologically diverse landscape from which the so-called Preseli bluestones originate. The bluestones are a group of Neolithic stones associated with Stonehenge in England and include rocks such as dolerite and rhyolite.
In the early 21st century, Rhosyfelin gained prominence in the debate over the provenance of Stonehenge's bluestones.
The interpretation that some Stonehenge bluestones were quarried at Rhosyfelin has been influential but also controversial.
