Rezgéselemzés, often translated as vibration analysis, is a diagnostic technique used to monitor the condition of rotating machinery. It involves measuring and analyzing the vibrations produced by a machine to detect abnormalities and predict potential failures. By understanding the vibration patterns, engineers can identify issues such as imbalance, misalignment, bearing defects, or gear wear.

The process typically begins with the installation of accelerometers or velocity sensors on the machine. These sensors convert mechanical vibrations into electrical signals, which are then processed and recorded by specialized data acquisition equipment.
