Resnais
Alain Resnais (3 June 1922 – 1 March 2014) was a French film director and screenwriter celebrated for his innovative treatment of memory, time, and subjectivity. Although associated with the French New Wave, his work consistently pursued formal experimentation and a distinctive narrative approach.
