Resiniformuloinnit, also known as resinification, is a process used in the preparation of biological specimens for microscopy. This technique involves the infiltration and embedding of tissue samples with a resin, which replaces the water and other fluids within the tissue. The resin used is typically a mixture of epoxy resins, which hardens to form a durable, transparent block that can be sectioned and examined under a microscope.

The resinification process begins with the fixation of the tissue sample, which involves the preservation of the tissue's structure and function. The fixed tissue is then dehydrated, typically using a series of ethanol solutions, to remove water and other fluids. The dehydrated tissue is then infiltrated with a resin, which gradually replaces the ethanol. This step is crucial as it ensures that the resin penetrates the tissue evenly, preventing the formation of air bubbles and ensuring a high-quality specimen.

Once the tissue is fully infiltrated with resin, it is polymerized, which involves the hardening of the resin to form a solid block. The polymerized block is then trimmed and sectioned into thin slices using a microtome. These sections are then mounted on a slide, stained, and examined under a microscope.
