Reparationsinlägg, often translated as "reparations inlay" or "compensatory inlay," is a dental term referring to a type of dental restoration. It is used to repair damage to a tooth, such as decay or fracture, when the damage is too extensive for a simple filling but not severe enough to require a full crown. Reparationsinlägg are typically made in a dental laboratory from materials like porcelain, gold, or composite resin. They are custom-made to fit the specific contours of the damaged tooth.

The procedure involves the dentist preparing the tooth by removing decayed or damaged material.
