Rendarian is a fictional cultural region, people, and language that appear in the fantasy world of Eldoria. The term designates the inhabitants of the Rendara valley and surrounding hills, as well as the shared customs and linguistic traditions of that sphere.

Etymology: The name Rendarian derives from the Rendari language, in which rendar means "border" or "frontier". The term came to denote the region served by the Rendara River trade routes and the communities living there.

Geography: Rendarian territory centers on the Rendara River valley in the central highlands. The landscape features temperate forests, terraced farmland, and a network of river towns. The capital, Rendara City, sits at the valley's southern end.

History: Archaeological finds indicate settlement in the late Bronze Age, followed by growth in trade during the medieval period. A regional confederation emerged by the 12th century, later incorporating neighboring communities. In the modern setting, Rendarian institutions are organized around customary law and a regional council.

Society and economy: The population is predominantly rural with growing urban centers. Agriculture (grain, olives, orchards) and small-scale mining support the economy, complemented by pottery, textile weaving, and metalwork crafts. The currency is the rendar, subdivided into smaller units; trade flows along river routes and caravan roads.

Culture and language: The Rendarian language comprises several dialects and remains the region's lingua franca in official and ceremonial contexts.
