Registerniveaus
Registerniveaus, often translated as "register levels," refers to the variation in language used depending on the social context and the relationship between speakers. It is a concept within sociolinguistics that describes how language style changes in different situations. There are typically considered to be several distinct register levels, though the exact number and names can vary.
A formal register is characterized by precise vocabulary, complex sentence structures, and adherence to grammatical rules.
Between these two extremes lie intermediate registers. A neutral or standard register is often used in everyday
