Ravintus is a fictional genus of bioluminescent flowering plants created for worldbuilding and speculative fiction. In the in-universe taxonomy, ravintus is placed in the family Ravintiaceae within the order Ericales. The name is said to derive from the in-world word ravint, meaning radiant light, a reference to the plant’s glow at dusk.
