RasGRP4
RasGRP4 is a guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) that plays a role in the Ras signaling pathway. It is a member of the RasGRP (Ras guanylation-associated protein) family, which are characterized by the presence of a RasGEF domain and a phorbol ester-binding domain. RasGRP4 is primarily expressed in the brain and is involved in neuronal development and function.
The protein acts by catalyzing the exchange of GDP for GTP on Ras proteins, thereby activating them.
Research suggests that RasGRP4 may interact with other signaling molecules and proteins to fine-tune Ras pathway
